Last Sunday, the 21st of June 2009 was the 5th anniversary of our group, the Kinross and Ochil Ramblers.
Loch Leven Half Marathon Sponsorship.
I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored me for the above event.
I raised a fantastic sum of £575.00 for the Birmingham Childrens Hospital- Kidney Unit, which I’m sure will be of great help towards providing a much better facility for children with Renal problems throughout the U.K.
I finished the 13.1mile course in a very satisfying time of 1 hour 28 minutes and 54 seconds, which to date is my second fastest half marathon time. Just over 500 runners completed the event which is organised by the Kinross Road Runners, which was the largest field in its history of 26 years.
