Kinross and Ochil: East Lomond Circuit.
Grade C+: 9.0 kms. 4.5 hours. Meet/Time: RASCP at 09.15 a.m. or BURN at 09.00 a.m. or at Craigmead car park at 10.00 am. Map Ref 58/227063 Description: Circular walk around the Falkland area with views from East Lomond, visiting some of the historic features in the Falkland estate, mainly on paths, vehicle tracks and roads. Note: No dogs please. Children Yes (if fit and over 12yrs.)

Kinross and Ochil: Loch Leven Heritage Trail.
Grade C+: 12.5 km; 4 hrs. Meet/Time: RASCP at 09.00 a.m. or Kinross Pier Loch Leven at 09.30 a.m. prompt! Map Ref: 58/122017. Description: We will be catching the 09.45 am. bus (remember bus pass!) to Vane Farm from opposite Kinross Town Hall and walking back to Kinross Pier- a flat walk along a gravel surfaced lochside trail, through the woods and wetlands surrounding Loch Leven.

Grade B+: 14 kms; 5 hrs. Meet/Time: RASCP at 09.00 a.m. or off A702 at Nine Mile Burn at 10.00 a.m. Map Ref: NT/177577 Description: A varied “figure of eight” walk taking in parts of two of the ancient North-south paths crossing the Pentlands as well as it’s highest peak. Total ascent: 595m. Note: No dogs please.

Grade B: 9.5 mls; 16 kms. Meet/Time: RASCP at 08.15 a.m. or Rannoch station at 10.50 a.m. Map Ref: 42/422579. Description: Train from Rannoch to Corrour Station then walking back, skirting Loch Ossian, on good tracks over open moorland to the station. Note: No dogs or children please.

Grade C: 7 mls; 4 hrs. Meet/Time: RASCP at 9.00 a.m. or at East Sands Leisure centre @ 10.15 a.m. Map Ref: 59/519159 Description: A circular route, starting along the seafront, through historic St. Andrews, then walking the riverside path along the Lade Braes, passing the Botanic Gardens and a beehive doocot. Skirting Lumbo wood, we walk through a wooden den leading towards Craigtoun, past Mount Melville House then return along The Scores. Note: dogs- yes. Children-yes (if fit)

Grade C+: 9 kms; Meet/Time: RASCP at 09.00 a.m. or Burn at 09.15 a.m. or at Famous Grouse carpark at 10.00 a.m.Map Ref: 368/NN:856234. Description: A circular walk on paths and tracks through open woods and open countryside, with superb views along the way and a moderate amount of climbing.
